Casa de Sabicos
Tinta Caiada & Cabernet Sauvignon

TINTO

This unoaked wine blends two grape varieties, Tinta Caiada and Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested in vineyards with red, chalky, and granitic soils.

The grapes are night harvested to preserve the ideal temperature of the musts and jointly fermented in conic steel vats with temperature control.

It is a very aromatic wine, smooth with an evident presence of black ripe berries and an excellent acidity.

The label's original watercolor, painted by Graça Santana Ramalho, represents a typical Alentejo cottage house, where simple austerity prevails and an open and inviting connection to the land.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Intense garnet.

Aroma: Very fruity, intense, fresh, with notes of ripe berries.

Taste: It has a soft entry, is bodied, and evidently has notes of ripe berries that are mildly sweet. Its excellent acidity contributes to its balance and complexity, and it has a long and persistent finish.
