RED

Sabicos red is a blend of Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, and Syrah grapes, harvested in vineyards with red chalky soils.

 

The grapes are harvested at night to preserve the temperature of the musts, and they are jointly fermented in conic steel vats with temperature control.

 

Like the other labels of Casa de Sabicos wines, the label of this wine is based on the producer's original watercolor, Graça Santana Ramalho. It represents an Alentejo typical cottage house, where simple austerity prevails along with an open and inviting connection to the land.

Colour: Defined garnet

Aroma: Fruity and intense notes of ripe red fruits and berries.

Taste: Young, astringent, with a good acidity. Initially smooth, it reveals a body with a long, fresh, and persistent finish.
