Casa de Sabicos
Reserva

RED

Casa de Sabicos Reserva blends Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, and Cabernet Sauvignon from a non-watered vineyard with granitic soils.

The grapes are harvested at night, which permits an ideal temperature for the musts and prevents their oxidation. They are jointly fermented in conic steel vats with strict temperature control. The wine ages 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by aging in the bottle in a chamber with temperature control.

The label's original watercolor, painted by Graça Santana Ramalho, represents a typical Alentejo cottage house, where simple austerity prevails and an open and inviting connection to the land.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Deep garnet.

Aroma: Complex, fresh, red fruits and spices; tannins of the wine well balanced with the oak.

Taste: Velvet, full-bodied, warm; oak notes well balanced with the spices felt in the nose. Long, persistent finish.
