Casa de Sabicos DOC Alentejo
RED
The Casa de Sabicos DOC Alentejo is a blend of Aragonez, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet, harvested during the night to preserve the ideal conditions for fermentation of the musts.
Following the grapes' joint fermentation in conic steel vats with rigorous temperature control, the wine ages about 6 months in French oak barrels.
This wine presents an intense aromatic complexity, with notes of ripe red fruits well balanced with the discrete presence of the oak. Bodied and very elegant, it has a long and very persistent finish.
The label's original watercolor, painted by Graça Santana Ramalho, represents a typical Alentejo cottage house, where simple austerity prevails and an open and inviting connection to the lad.
